Circle as Compass offers practices that help us navigate our path through the wisdom of the Circle Map. We begin from wholeness, orienting from our center within spacious awareness, tracing our movement through the living seasons of birth, death, and renewal. Following our yearning through cycles that connect us—to one another and to the greater flow of life—we create a path of fair and equitable exchange that honors all our relations.
Our essence is the most quintessential part of us—a fixed center, a drop of eternity emerging into form. From this stillpoint, a unique morphic field arises, attracting or repelling relationships that coalesce around it. The circumference of our lives also orbits around this point—circles within circles, passing through days, months, and years, all embedded within a fabric of wholeness. We anchor into this center to reconnect with our right to be—in supportive kinship with the greater web from which we emerge.
The needle of our inner compass emerges from our center point as a yearning to grow in alignment with what is life-affirming. This longing is a directional impulse that flows from essence creating a toroidal field, expressing itself through relational threads. When these threads are ruptured by trauma, the flow becomes tangled or misdirected—like energy trying to move through frayed wires. Until we restore coherence in our energy field, anything we create in our life will carry an imprint of this incoherence.
As our energy flows, it is contained by boundaries—our skin, relationships, and systems of all kinds. Boundaries are shaped through collective agreement, both consciously and unconsciously. They are dynamic membranes that regulate exchange, allowing growth to support differentiation without separation. When rooted in kinship, they allow us to be living conduits of fair and equitable exchange. Circle reflects this in its geometry of wholeness: each point equally essential to the whole, held in relation to the center—balanced and interconnected.
Each Circle emerges as an individual expression of the infinite potential and intelligence of the whole. Through the luminosity of awareness, we explore the continuity of spaciousness coming into form. Without the ability to navigate from our essence in kinship and with nature’s cycles, we risk being pulled into cultural guardrails that fracture and divide us. The Circle as Compass path offers a way to orient coherently with universal flow.
